What dental care do you offer families?
Family Dentistry
At Anzac Avenue Dental, we look after whole families under one roof, from a toddler’s first check-up to a grandparent’s dentures. One familiar clinic on Anzac Avenue makes regular care easier to keep up with.
Our team explains what we see and what your options are, so everyone knows what’s happening with their teeth. Most families come in for a check-up and clean every six months, and we look after children’s dentistry, general dentistry and more in-house.

What dental care does each age need?
DENTAL CARE FOR EVERY AGE
Gentle first visits for little ones
We recommend a first visit around your child's first birthday, or when the first teeth appear. Early visits are short and relaxed, and help children get used to the sounds and friendly faces at the dentist.
As more teeth come through, regular check-ups let us keep an eye on how they're developing and show you how to care for them at home. Our children's dentistry page has more on what to expect.
Check-ups, sport and growing smiles
School-age kids and teens need regular check-ups and cleans as their adult teeth come through. Fissure sealants can help protect the back teeth from decay.
Playing sport? A custom mouthguard is made to fit their teeth. We also check how the bite and jaw are developing, and can talk you through orthodontics and early intervention if it may help.
Keeping adult teeth healthy
A check-up and clean every six months helps us spot small problems early, before they need bigger treatment. When something does need fixing, we offer fillings, crowns and root canal treatment.
If you'd like to change how your smile looks, we also offer teeth whitening and Invisalign. We'll talk through your options and what's realistic for you.
Comfortable care in later years
As we get older, gums, existing fillings and missing teeth often need more attention. We offer dentures and dental implants to replace missing teeth, and we'll talk you through which may suit you.
Some medications can cause a dry mouth, which raises the risk of decay. Let us know what you take, and we'll suggest ways to protect your teeth.

If fear or anxiety has been keeping you out of the dentist’s chair, sleep dentistry may be worth considering. Using IV sedation or general anaesthetic, we can carry out a wide range of treatments, from routine check-ups through to more complex procedures, while you rest comfortably. For many patients, it makes dental care feel manageable again.
